The son of Sam and Thelma (Crawford) Beals, Jerry was born on September 9, 1939 in Mingo where he lived his "entire" life. Jerry was a self employed general contractor who had many talents but was widely known as a "jack of all trades and a master of none." He also had a great passion for Bluegrass music, antique steam engines and animals, specifically, Chance, Sassy, Bubba and the damned cat.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Sandra at home; his children, Kim (David) Smith, Tracey (Peggy) Beals, Cory (Jennifer McCloney) Beals, Trisha ( Jamie Anderson) German, Rhonda (John) Osborn, and Timbra (Jeff) Theis; grandchildren, Taylor, Skylar and Shauna Smith and Chelsea Smith, Melissa (Josh) Peterson, Joel (Raquel) Tolentino, Braydn and Sydney Beals, Tanner Beals, Alex Auten, Emileigh Beals, Justin and Levi German, Billy Osborn, Matthew (Lindsay) Steven and Katie Shanon, Jacob Holloway, Jeremy, Kelsie, and Samantha Theis; great grandchildren Cameron and Anissa Smith, Rhylinn Peterson, Jayda Tolentino and Kade Shanon. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Thelma, his brother Larry and his son Kenneth.

Just want you to know how sorry I am about Jerry..you are in my thoughts and prayers! I remember him calling you every night at work with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and saying " May I speak with Sandra"...makes me smile to remember him ! He was awesome! Loved you very much and is now watching over you! Let me know if you need anything...
Thinking of you and your family. We have gotten to know Jerry through working with you, take care our friend, we are here if you need us.
I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember the good times and the great music. It was a lot of good fun and great memories. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. It's the ones left behind that feel the pain and the empty void. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
As most people know, dad was a card. He always had a one liner or a joke to tell. We are compiling a list at the house of some of his more "famous" ones. Feel free to add them here as well please.
One that many have repeated in the past few days was when people would ask him "if he had lived in Mingo his entire life" and he would always say "not yet!".
Ronnie and I were so sorry to hear this. We used to have some really good times together Sandy. My main memory, besides you and Ronnie's talks of raising dogs, was a joke I told to Jerry, which I can't repeat, and forever after when I would see him he'd ask me if my feet stunk. I'd say "no" just so he could say the punchline. Our sympathy to you and the family.
Sandy and family,
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
