Brenda Lee Des Planques, age 58 of Colfax, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The daughter of Dave Elmer and Penny (Kintz) Borts, Jr, Brenda was born on November 16, 1963 in Newton. On February 11, 2006, she was united in marriage to Michael Des Planques at the Howard Street Christian Church. Brenda was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, collecting several items throughout her life. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Michael; children, Caleb Des Planques, Elizabeth White, and Mark Des Planques; a grandson, Keegan White; her siblings, Dave (David Witke) Borts III, John Borts, Lonnie (Jodie) Borts and Robin (William) Garner and ten nieces and nephews, Jorden (Kalyn) Borts, Colten (Shyanna) Borts, Camden (Jazmine) Borts, Jayden Borts, Chaylee Borts, Jessica Borts, Robbie Larue, Austin Larue, Samantha Larue and Dave Garner. Preceding her in death were her parents.
