Chris was born on May 17, 1991, at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. On November 17, 2013, he was united in marriage to Jessica Mitchell at Christian Life Church in Newton, Iowa. Chris was working as a forklift driver at Graphic Packaging in Newton where he made a good friend that he could really talk to. Chris loved to ride about anything on wheels. He loved to drive fast. He loved dirt bikes, motorcycles, & four-wheelers of all kinds. He loved fishing any chance he got. He loved spending time with his family. Family get-togethers meant a lot to him. He loved his wife to the moon and back & he was her penguin. To say he loved his children is an understatement... he lived for his children! The happiest times in his life were when he got married, when his children were born (even though it scared him to death), & each time he had a new niece or nephew. Chris had the biggest heart and gave the best bear hugs!
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Jessica; their three children...Gabriella, Jameson, and Paisley; his mother, Becky (Steve) Hildreth; siblings...Lacy (Kevin) Catalano, Katy (Cody) Blizzard, Ally Gatewood, Jo (Jesselle) Gatewood, and several other half-siblings; step-father Jr (Becca) Gatewood; Neices... Dillyliah, BreeAnna, Raylinn, Adalynn, and Lilly; Nephews... Anthony, McKinley, and Asher; Grandparents, Gerold & Christa Fields; many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends . Preceding Chris in death were his sister Kacy, cousin Kat, uncle Fred, Grandpa Rod, & a few angel babies of his own.
Chris will be so greatly missed by more than he would've ever imagined!
