Coleen Lucille (Ruggless) Robson, age 98 of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Mill Pond Retirement Home in Ankeny. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Burial will take place at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The daughter of Earl and Elva (Annis) Ruggless, Coleen was born on January 30, 1925, in Colfax, Iowa. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1943 and was united in marriage to Wilber Robson in Missouri on October 2, 1943. Coleen worked a few years for the telephone company, the local grocery store, and finally babysitting in her home for family and friends.

She enjoyed camping at the Iowa State Fair for many years with family and friends. She was an avid card player, teaching many grandchildren how to play and was a member of a canasta club. Coleen and Wilber enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles with family and friends and being members of the Colfax Saddle Club and Newton Motorcycle Club respectfully. She also enjoyed square dancing, bowling, and watching children and grandchildren in various sports events and activities. Most of all Coleen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, William "Bill" (Ruth Ann) Robson, Jan Keenan, Joe (Joy) Robson and Caren (Dr. Phil) Clevenger; grandchildren, Keith (Lori) Robson, Megan (Jeffrey) Tindle, Justis (Allyson) Robson, Cassie (Travis) Cook, and Justin (Sierra) Devoe; great grandchildren, Emma and Emily Cook, Quintin, Braxton, Kinley and Jayda Devoe, Adyline and Sylvie Robson, Gavin, Sawyer, and Peyton Tindle, Cortni (Mindaugas) Anderson and Walker Robson. Also surviving are eight step grandchildren and 25 step great grandchildren.

Preceding Coleen in death were her parents, husband, Wilber in 2010; a grandson, Wesley Robson in 2015; son-in-law, Ray Smothers in 2021; two brothers, and a step grandson.
