On the morning of June 18, 2019, Elizabeth Glee Oliver, age 61 of Newton, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Howard Street Christian Church. Burial will follow at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Memorials may be directed to the Glee Oliver Memorial Fund and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com She was born in San Diego, California on May 31, 1958. Glee graduated from Bondurant High School in 1977. She worked at Warren's which became Marzettis. She married Rodney Oliver on May 8, 1982. Together they enjoyed riding Harley's and spoiling their nieces and nephews. Glee was known for her good sense of humor and her contagious personality. Glee is survived by her husband, Rodney; parents, Norman and Roberta Olsen; a sister, Alice Olsen; a brother, Matt (Luann) Olsen; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Kenny Bos; sisters, Tink (JR) Brant, Anna (George) Evans and Lois Oliver; nieces and nephews, Peter, Thomas, Ashley (Jaci), Chelsie (Nate), Megan (Hannah), Katie, Mistie, Kristen, Abi, Laura, Karmen, Kevin, Gene, Don, CC (Kassie) and Brandy; great nieces and nephews, Makenzly, Eastyn, Brooklynn, Avalynn, Dante, Donovan, Lennon, and Kimberlynn. Preceding her in death is a brother, David Olsen; a sister, Theresa Cormany and a niece Laura Champlin.
