Joseph E. Routh, age 44, passed away after several years of ill health. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Mitchellville American Legion from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Joe was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys and the Iowa Hawkeyes, but most of all he loved his large extended family. He was a loving son and brother and will be missed by all. Joe is survived by his parents, Teresa Routh and Doug (Johnette) Routh; his sister, Emily (Robert) Haines and their children, Sadie and Alden; his grandmother's, Geraldine Routh and Merilee Murdock and aunts, uncles and cousins.
