Kurtis Randal Crozier, age 66 of Mingo, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at UnityPoint Methodist in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April, 29, 2025, at 10:30 am at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will take place at Union Chapel Cemetery near Ira. The family will greet friends on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Memorials may be directed to the family and checks can be made out to Shari Long-Crozier. The son of Donald William and Shirley Mae (McGriff) Crozier,Kurt was born on June 12, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Mingo High School in 1976. Kurt worked as a skilled fabricator and welder with a passion for cars and mechanical work. He was first married in October of 1983 and had a daughter and son, Kristen and Kyle Crozier. Following a divorce, he married Shari Long-Crozier in September of 1998 and their daughter Emma was born. Growing up, Kurt loved riding his motorcycle and showing off. He enjoyed farming through the 1980s and had been welding since he was in high school. Kurt enjoyed the simple things in life, boating, fishing, attending car shows and working on cars. He and his family liked taking road trips, visiting multiple states across the US.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Shari; two daughters, Kristen and Emma Crozier; his brother, Rick (Val) Crozier and his father-in-law, Ed Bunn. Preceding him in death were his parents, his son, Kyle and mother-in-law, Myrna Bunn.
