The daughter of Russell Dean and Norma Lee (Cross) Tilghman, Lisa was born on October 31, 1963 in Clarion, Iowa. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1982. On January 10, 1997, she was united in marriage to Scott Pierce. Lisa devoted her life to always taking care of those around her whether it was through childcare and education, customer service, or taking care of her loved ones. She enjoyed crafting, tending to her yard and flowers, and attending the Iowa State Fair. Her greatest joys in life were truly her daughters and grandbabies.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Kodi (Dalton) Machin; six grandchildren, Keaton Brown, Paisley Wilson, Harper Ruple, Mason Machin, Jase Machin and Blake Machin; her brother, Monte (Valerie) Marchant; her sister/cousin, Penny Forschler, her dog, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Scott, a daughter, Samantha Brown and her siblings, Max Marchant, Joyce Camp and Randy Marchant.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the family and friends that offered their care and support.
