Margaret Irene Klein, age 92 of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Newton Village. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Monroe Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Silent City Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the church. The daughter of Bert and Ethel (Reed) Breen, Margaret was born on December 6, 1929 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. On January 29, 1948, she was united in marriage to Junior L. Klein at the Otley Reformed Church. Margaret worked at Rolscreen and Midland Manufacturing. She also volunteered at Congregate Meals in Monroe. She was a member of the Otley Reformed Church and the Presbyterian Church in Monroe. Margaret enjoyed gardening, canning and tending to her flowers. She cross stitched baby quilts and Christmas stockings for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping and her trips to Branson with family.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Doug (Sandy) Klein, Diane (John) Huetter, Darla (Gary) Munson and Denise (Neil) Norwood; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Anna Mae (Merle) Vickroy. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband in 1994, a brother Bert Breen, Jr. and sisters, Blanche Crews and Henrietta Spoelstra.
