Ronald Wayne Tangeman, age 56 of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his home. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Ron's home in Monroe. Memorials may be directed to the Ronald Tangeman Memorial Fund and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The son of Robert and Karen (Thompson) Tangeman, Ron was born on May 30, 1959, in Decorah, Iowa. He graduated from Monroe High School. On January 9, 1982, he was united in marriage to Cindy Martinache at the Little Brown Church. Ron was a lead painter at Vermeer, where he worked for 37 years. Ron was also a member of the Jasper County Bowling Association. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Cindy; three daughters, Heather (James Henning) Tangeman, Samantha McCumber, and Jessie Tangeman; four grandchildren, Jayden Henning, Savhannah and Lily McCumber and Robert Tangeman; and four brothers, James Tangeman, Scott Tangeman, Roger Tangeman, and Curt Tangeman. Preceding Ron in death were his parents and grandparents.
