The daughter of Robert and Diana (Wilkinson) Stafford, Jodi was born on October 1, 1969, in Albia, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1988. She worked for many years as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Delta Dental. Jodi was a fan of Des Moines Buccaneers Hockey and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Loved spending time with her best buddy, Max.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Bob and Diana; a brother, Josh (Ellie) Stafford, a niece Sabrina and a nephew Ethan, many cousins and other family. Preceding her in death were her twin brothers, Todd and Jamie Stafford and her best buddy Max.
Jodi has been like a sister to me since we grew up in the same home together for much of my childhood...she went from having her own room to herself to sharing it with my sister and me for quite a few years and I don't remember her ever complaining about it! I'm very thankful for her and appreciate her good example of many positive attributes such as loyalty, determination, good-natured, perseverant...to name a few. When I think of Jodi, her smile and laughter come to mind. All throughout her life, she endured many physical trials with strength and patience like I've never personally witnessed in another person, yet she kept a pretty good attitude through it all. We did not keep in touch as much as we should have, but every time we got together or talked on the phone, we would realize how much we enjoyed each other and really missed one another. Jodi was very easy to talk to and I always felt very comfortable with her. She is greatly missed by my husband, Jason, and our 4 sons, Marvin, Mark, Marshall, and Martin (who have grown up calling her "Aunt Jodi") and me. Our relationship had been growing even stronger and deeper the last year or so and I am so grateful to have had Jodi as a special part of my family and my life! :)
Jodi had the kindest heart and is part of so many wonderful childhood memories. I love you sweet friend!
