Very saddened to hear fo Cindy’s passing. Good memories from our 4-H days. There was always laughter and good times. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was heartbroken to hear of Cindy’s passing, she was a kind and generous friend, and so much fun. 41 years ago today, my Iowa State roommates, Cindy, and others conspired to surprise me with a 19th bday party in my dorm. And boy was I surprised ... to find classmates, lab partners, acquaintances, and all other sorts that they’d invited to help celebrate, in my room. It was THE best! I remember it every year, and especially this year, our 60th.
My sympathies to the Dittmer and Daft families, and all who were touched by her warmth, humor and kindness.

Cindy always had a smile on her face, and was always willing to help to find what I needed at 3M where we both worked. I know that she will be missed. I'm very sorry for your loss, this sweet person was way to young at heart,, and "I" will miss her. My thoughts and prayers for her family at this time of loss... Jeff

So sorry to hear about Cindy. that's way too young She will be missed by many
This lady was one of the kindest souls I have ever gotten to know. This past fall she stopped by when she saw our garage door raised, just so we could chat. Anyone that knew Cindy, knows that her "chats" were lengthy. What I wouldn't give to have her stop one more time. Sending thoughts, love and prayers to you all during this most difficult time. Her memory lives on in so many hearts. Helen Wares
Her laugh will be missed by many at 3M. Praying for strength for the family. Amy Z

Heartbroken to hear this news. My sympathy to Cindy's family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. My friendship with Cindy goes back to our childhood 4-H days. We had such great times together. Very treasured memories.
My sincere sympathy and hugs to Cindys' family. Cindy was always so much fun. Our class {1979} was big but Cindy always tried to get as many as possible to come to our reunions. So glad I was able to talk to her on the phone a week before her birthday and so glad I went to see her a couple weeks later. That last hug will stay in my heart forever. LuAnne Steenhoek
