Ryan Lee Grant, age 51 of Colfax, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at 11:00 am. Join us at Sue Grant's home, 14764 Fame Avenue, Colfax for a luncheon.
The son of Rick & Sue Grant, Ryan was born on August 25, 1970 in Des Moines, IA. Ryan worked as a carpenter for many years, framing houses. He was known best for his Jack of all trades. He Loved being outdoors gardening, mowing, fishing & most of all hunting for mushrooms & wild asparagus. When he was not outdoors, you could find him in the kitchen canning his harvest or in the garage listening to music & planning a new project. He was a man of many talents, very caring & willing to help out family & friends wherever & whenever needed!
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Sue; son, Brandon (Spencer w/granddaughter on the way); sisters are Cheree (Frank); & Shelley (Matt). Also, surviving are many aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, great nieces & nephews. Preceding Ryan in death was his father, Rick Grant & his grandparents Ross/Bette Grant & Cal/Emma Scott. Ryan has donated to the Iowa Donor Network.
